This is a winter costume for the Kings of the Ryukyu Kingdom. The costume was made from the cloth gifted by the Chinese emperor at SAPPO. It is a figured cloth called DONSU (satin damask), and it was designed with rounded patterns of dragons and chrysanthemum arabesques on a dark blue indigo-dyed cloth.
