This unlined costume was woven in banana fiber threads. The large vertical striped patterns were designed on a yellow textile, and the slightly sifted two in Chinese numerals and KAGIMOYOU were woven in double ikat on it. The colors of white, blue, deep blue and vermilion were used for the striped patterns as accent. During the Ryukyu Kingdom era, only high ranking people were allowed to wear ikat textile with large patterns.
