Candle stand (shokudai). 19th cent.

This is a candle stand of TSUBOYA ware. The original material of it is in pale white color, made it thick, and coated with green glaze all over it. The stand is formed into square shape, and the center is curved as a cloud shape with a paddle, then made legs. The center part of the receiver is made on a wheel.
