This is a summer costume for men. The accent colors of red, purple, orange and green were applied in places on blue HANABISHITSUNAGI (pattern of lozenge-shaped chains with flowers). According to Kamakura Yoshitarou, who has researched the Sho family’s artifacts before the Battle of Okinawa, this costume was favored by the 19th king, Sho Tai.
